Emotions are feelings of the body which is created by human itself , Emotions has different effects on the body which helps body to improve as Well as destroy it. It has both Positive and Negative effects. Maintaining your positive attitude can help you  improving it. Negative attitude can lead to failures of different part of the body.

So one should just maintain the emotions in either way so that body can work properly without having any distruptions in body.
